KADE / Website information
Privacy
notice.
This notice covers KADE’s website, general and development enquiries, customer and press access, and optional newsletters. Institutional products, pilots and deployments have separate contractual data terms.
Contact information is used to handle your request. Newsletter consent remains separate.
Read the full detail ↓A guide to the full notice below.
01Who is responsible
+
KADE Technologies LLC is the controller responsible for the personal data described in this notice. For privacy matters, contact info@kadetechnologies.com and identify your request as a website privacy enquiry.
02Your privacy rights
+
We process personal data only for the purposes described in this notice and on a lawful basis under applicable data protection law. Depending on the activity, this may be your consent, steps you request before entering an agreement, performance of an agreement, legal obligations, or legitimate interests in responding to enquiries, administering accounts and protecting the service, balanced against your rights.
Optional visitor analytics and email marketing require your separate consent. Declining them does not prevent an enquiry or an access request. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.
You may contact KADE about a privacy concern and have the right to complain to the competent data protection authority. Contact us for the authority and complaint route applicable to your circumstances. Nothing in this notice limits your statutory rights.
03Information you provide
+
For authenticated administrators, the restricted admin portal displays account name, email, latest activity time and approximate network-derived country and region to other administrators. Presence updates while an admin page is visible; it is shown as inactive after 60 seconds without an update. This is separate from optional visitor analytics. No precise GPS location or raw IP address is stored for this presence feature. Current administrator presence is linked to the sign-in session. Separately, authenticated administrator and approved customer activity records retain account name, email, activity time, portal page and approximate country, region and city (including rounded network-location coordinates) for up to 30 days for operational history. Cleanup runs as new activity arrives, so removal may be delayed during inactivity. These records are not linked to anonymous visitor analytics.
The form asks for your enquiry topic, first name, surname, institution or organisation, work email and message. We also retain the submission time, a receipt reference and the version of this notice presented with the form. These details allow us to review and respond to your request, manage subsequent correspondence and prevent duplicate or excessive submissions.
Providing an enquiry is voluntary. Please include only information needed for the initial discussion. Do not submit client records, portfolio holdings, identity documents or other confidential personal or financial data.
04How enquiries are handled
+
Enquiries are stored privately in the website’s database and are available through authorised site administration. The public website provides no enquiry listing or lookup. A receipt on screen confirms that the enquiry has been saved. We also use Resend to send an acknowledgement and notify the KADE team; delivery may be delayed or fail.
We use the information to handle your enquiry and any discussion you request, including API, integration, documentation and sandbox questions. Submitting an enquiry does not subscribe you to a mailing list unless you separately opt in and confirm your email subscription. We do not sell enquiry information.
05Hosting and access
+
The public website is hosted through ChatGPT Sites using Cloudflare infrastructure. Hosting and communications providers process information needed to deliver and protect the service. This can include technical request information such as an IP address, browser details and access time. KADE’s enquiry records do not include a separate stored IP-address field.
Website hosting and enquiry handling are separate from the technical deployment profiles described for KADE’s analytical products. This website does not offer a Qatar-only storage commitment or the fully sovereign analytical boundary described for those products; hosting and communications processing may take place outside Qatar. Cross-border processing is subject to applicable data protection requirements, including any required transfer safeguards. Contact us for information about the providers and safeguards relevant to your data. Information may also be disclosed where required by applicable law.
06Experience preferences
+
This website remembers your cookie choice and temporary navigation state. Motion and volume settings are saved only when Preferences is enabled in Cookie settings. Optional visitor measurement follows your Statistics choice. Sign-in and restricted press access use cookies or browser storage needed for authentication. Sound starts off on each page. You can change these controls through Experience settings, or remove saved preferences through your browser’s site-data settings.
The website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure page views, visits and page performance. The website application does not install advertising trackers. Hosting providers may process operational information to maintain and protect their services.
07Optional analytics and portal security
+
With your permission, KADE records page visits, approximate active reading time, views and interactions with named diagrams, clicks towards portal access, and first-touch campaign source, medium and campaign codes (UTM tags), navigation and named control clicks, FAQ question opens and category selections, FAQ search outcomes (with or without results, never the search text), FAQ enquiry-link clicks, control visibility, enquiry starts and validation-failure counts, approximate screen-size category, plus counts of saved enquiries attributed to that consented browser-tab session within 24 hours. A unique campaign code per post allows post-level reporting; no cross-device matching is performed. These pseudonymous events are not linked to your registered account. Your cookie choice is remembered for 180 days on this browser using a first-party cookie and, when available, local storage. Clearing browser data or changing browser may require a new choice. Preferences storage is optional and controls whether motion and volume settings are remembered. Necessary storage remains active; no marketing cookies are currently used. Full referral URLs and arbitrary query strings are not stored. A random browser-session identifier groups these events; country and region are derived from hosting request metadata and may be inaccurate. We do not collect precise GPS location, form contents or a raw IP address in these analytics records. Use Cookie settings to decline or withdraw permission for future collection. Analytics events are scheduled for removal after 30 days. Cleanup runs as new events arrive, so removal can be delayed during inactivity.
Customer portal registration retains your first name, surname, verified sign-in email, chosen username, organisation, role, intended use, consent time and notice version. These support access review and account administration. Resend processes registration acknowledgements and access-decision emails; message status and provider references are retained for delivery troubleshooting. Access remains tied to the registered sign-in identity and email. The customer portal records signed-in access denials and resource downloads for security review separately from optional analytics. Administrators may review access requests, apply resource restrictions and maintain an activity-based watchlist. Signals prompt human review; location is not used as a risk score. Access decisions and administrative changes are retained in an audit history. Contact us about access or privacy requests.
08Press access and sign-in
+
Press access requests use the contact details and message you submit so the team can review and respond. Restricted press resources require authentication. If you register a passkey, the service stores its public key, credential identifier and authentication counters; your private key and device biometrics are not sent to KADE. Temporary sign-in challenges and security records help prevent replay and abuse.
Password-based accounts retain the account email, a password hash, account status, session records and time-limited recovery or confirmation token hashes. Password changes require email confirmation. Resend processes the related account emails; delivery references and security audit records support troubleshooting and protection against misuse. Passwords are not stored as readable account credentials.
09Administrative reporting and maps
+
Authorised administrators can review enquiries, account status, security events and aggregate website statistics. Internal reports may be emailed through Resend to configured recipients. Map locations are approximate hosting-derived locations, not verified addresses or GPS positions; zooming into a town does not identify an individual’s location. The administrative map loads map tiles from OpenStreetMap, whose servers receive the administrator’s map requests and associated technical information. Visitor records are not sent as part of those tile requests.
10Newsletters and consent history
+
If you select the optional newsletter box, we record your email, name, organisation, sign-up source, the consent wording and date. We send a confirmation link; only confirmed subscribers receive newsletters. The box is unticked by default, and consent is not a condition of enquiry handling or portal access. Resend processes confirmation emails and newsletters for KADE. Each newsletter identifies KADE as the sender and includes an unsubscribe link requiring no account login. You can also withdraw by emailing info@kadetechnologies.com. Withdrawal stops future marketing and does not affect processing already lawfully carried out.
We retain dated sign-up, confirmation, withdrawal and re-subscription records to honour your preferences. A minimal suppression record remains after withdrawal so we do not send further newsletters. Email delivery failures and complaints may also suppress sending. Newsletter choices are separate from website analytics consent, enquiry handling and portal access. Contact info@kadetechnologies.com to request access to or deletion of your information.
11Retention and requests
+
We retain enquiry information for the time needed to handle the request and any resulting relationship, and where applicable record-keeping obligations require it. You can contact us to request a copy of your personal data, correction or deletion, withdraw consent, or object to unnecessary, excessive, discriminatory or unlawful processing. You can also ask us to stop handling an enquiry. Requests are considered subject to applicable law and any records that must be retained.
Use info@kadetechnologies.com and include the receipt reference if available. We may ask for information needed to verify that the request concerns your details. Please do not send identity documents unless an appropriate verification route has been agreed.
Account and authentication records are retained as needed to administer access and protect the service. Recovery and confirmation links expire; expiry prevents their use but does not itself guarantee deletion of the associated record. Security and delivery history may remain where needed to investigate misuse, resolve a dispute or meet a legal obligation.
Unpublished article drafts and uploaded editorial assets remain within the restricted publishing workspace. They are retained while needed for drafting, review or publication. Published articles and their selected contributor details remain public until changed or removed. Contact us to request correction or removal; we assess any continuing editorial, legal or record-keeping need. Copies held by search engines or other third parties may remain outside our control.
Subject to applicable law, you may also request restriction of processing or portability of personal data. We assess each request against the applicable conditions and respond within the required legal timeframe.
12Network location
+
Where supplied by the hosting provider, analytics and account activity include approximate city-level coordinates derived from the network connection. These are rounded, are not device GPS, and can reflect a VPN or network routing location rather than the person’s actual position. Missing locations remain unavailable. Optional visitor collection follows analytics consent.
13Updates
+
We will revise this notice when the website’s handling of information changes. The revision date appears above. For questions about an institutional deployment’s data arrangements, please use the relevant agreement or contact KADE directly.
14Screen sharing and invitations
+
Authorised administrators can invite administrators and external guests to a private viewing room. KADE stores the session title, organiser and recipient email addresses, room identifiers, invitation and delivery references, join and last-seen times, expiry and revocation status. Guest links use a stored token hash. Resend delivers invitations.
Daily supplies the streaming service and receives the shared screen stream, participant identifiers and email used as the participant name, and technical connection information required to deliver the session. The presenter explicitly chooses a screen and starts sharing. Camera and microphone transmission are disabled in this experience; KADE provides no recording or remote-control function. Participants may nevertheless capture what they see using their own devices. Rooms expire after one hour; expiry ends room access and does not by itself erase stored invitation or audit records. Operational records are retained for administration, security and troubleshooting under the retention principles below. See Daily’s privacy information for its handling of information.
15Connected search, social and article reporting
+
The restricted console receives search-performance data from Google Search Console and available metrics from connected social accounts through Metricool. Reports can include search terms, landing pages, countries, devices and social performance, subject to the source’s reporting limits and delays. These connections do not give KADE a named list of people who searched for or viewed its content.
Article intelligence uses public headlines, source links and metadata. Internal daily emails may contain website and connected-source summaries and operational information for configured recipients. Enquiry contacts are summarised rather than listed individually in the daily email body. The CSV attachment includes individual enquiry records, including names, contact details and messages. Authorised administrators can also inspect the underlying records in the console.
The publishing workspace stores article drafts, uploaded images, author attribution and publication details. Published articles may display the contributor’s name, title, photograph and chosen professional profile link. Only details selected for publication are made public; an administrator account or private profile is not automatically published. Following a LinkedIn or other external link takes you to a service with its own privacy practices.
